Overview

NDT Australia delivers routine, periodic and major crane inspection for owners and operators nationwide. We inspect cranes using visual, magnetic particle, eddy current and ultrasonic methods to detect fatigue cracking, wear and structural damage before it becomes a safety risk.

Every inspection is documented in a clear engineering report and, where required, supported by certification to keep your cranes legally compliant and available for work.

What We Inspect

On cranes we typically inspect:

• Hook, sheaves and load path
• Structural welds and pins
• Slew ring and outriggers
• Wire ropes and rigging

Standards & Compliance

Crane Inspection is carried out to AS 2550 — Cranes safe use and the relevant Australian Standards for design and safe use. We clearly state compliance status and any corrective actions in every report.
