Overview
For concrete pumps, the scope should include the mounting arrangement, sub-frame, stabilisers or outriggers, fatigue-critical welds and the equipment's service records. Targeted NDT is selected after the component material, access and suspected failure mode are reviewed.
NDT Australia records the areas examined, methods used, findings and limitations in a clear report. Where the agreed scope calls for engineering input, the report can be provided for review by the responsible engineer or competent person.
